According to a statement from the Traffic Administration, a modified traffic regime has been introduced for passenger vehicles and buses, which includes complete traffic stoppages daily during the hours of 5:00 AM to 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This restriction is in effect from May 2, 2026, to May 31, 2026.

“All traffic participants who need to cross the Đurđevića Tara bridge are requested to adhere to the established traffic stoppages. The contractor will accommodate the needs of traffic participants and will make additional adjustments to the work schedule to ensure passage at 7:00 AM, 4:15 PM, and 6:00 PM,” the statement emphasizes.

The announcement further adds that during the other specified times (5:00 AM to 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM), no passage will be allowed.

“There is a total traffic ban for freight vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and vehicles with a capacity over 3.5 tons. This prohibition will remain in effect until the completion of the works. Outside of the specified times, traffic will proceed alternately, in accordance with the established traffic signals. During the stoppages, traffic participants may use the alternative route via Vrulja – Mijakovići,” the statement reads.

The Traffic Administration urges all drivers to plan their travels according to the new regime, utilize alternative routes, and respect the posted signals to ensure the efficient and safe execution of the works.
