As visitors plan their trips to the beautiful Montenegro coast and Durmitor National Park, it is important to be aware of temporary changes in transportation that may affect travel plans. The ferry line between Kamenari and Lepetane will be temporarily closed for regular traffic on Thursday and Friday, June 4 and 5, due to the EU-Western Balkans Summit 2026.

During this suspension, the ferry service will be available exclusively for emergency services and vehicles with priority passage, including ambulances, fire services, police and other relevant authorities.

The Public Enterprise for Managing Marine Resources has announced that the ferry traffic on the Kamenari–Lepetane line will be halted during this period to ensure the smooth operation of the summit and the safety of all participants.

Travelers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly, taking into account this temporary change.

For those visiting Durmitor National Park, consider alternative routes and transportation options to ensure a smooth travel experience. Enjoy your visit to one of Montenegro’s most stunning natural destinations
