The road from Plužine to Žabljak, passing through Trse (or Vojinovića) and continuing towards Prutaš and the Sedlo pass, has been reopened for traffic since Friday.
According to a post on the Facebook page of the Piva Nature Park, this year, snowplows have managed to clear the road earlier than usual due to the smaller amount of snowfall in the area during winter. “This roadway is part of the famous ‘Durmitor Ring,’ which is an exceptionally attractive panoramic route connecting the municipalities of Plužine and Žabljak during the summer months,” the Piva Nature Park team reminded us.
They also noted that a section of this route through Trse, Milogore, Nedajno, and the Sušica canyon towards Žabljak has been passable for some time.
